We source our Spanish and Portuguese wines through two of the most renowned import specialists from these countries, Eric Solomon (European Cellars) and Mannie Berk (The Rare Wine Company).
 
Eric Solomon selects wines from both well-established and newer regions. Some of the wineries he represents are already known as being among Spain's best. Many other wines he represents are custom cuvées created in collaboration with a bevy of winemaking talents, at times in regions where potential has been neglected for centuries. Eric embodies our sense of adventure and risk-taking as well as a shared passion for quality and value in his selections.

Mannie Berk founded The Rare Wine Company in 1989 and is committed to representing - as the name suggests - some of the greatest and rarest of wines. But this has not precluded the discovery and development of some remarkable values from relatively obscure or under-appreciated regions as well. Mannie's criteria are "for a wine to be made in small lots, and to reflect a special terroir or a special winemaker … [wines that are] truly expressive-the one quality that ultimately defines great wine."
